About the studio

The house we keep

Clickvault Nest is an independent marketing and communications studio based on Jalan Pinang in Kampong Glam. We are small on purpose: large enough to run multi-phase engagements, small enough that the people you meet at Listen are the people who draft your frame and attend your handover.

The name refers to a vault kept in plain sight — materials held carefully, nothing hidden behind theatre. We work in black surfaces and brass accents because our clients come to us for clarity, not decoration. This page introduces the room, the roles, and the habits that shape how we work.

Premises

A room in Kampong Glam

Our studio occupies a third-floor room above the shophouse rhythm of Jalan Pinang — a few minutes from Bugis and the Malay Heritage Centre, close enough to the city to meet clients without performing a corporate tower. The space is arranged as a single long table, wall shelves for active projects, and a quiet corner for Listen sessions that should not be interrupted.

We host by appointment. Walk-in traffic is rare and unwelcome to the work in progress on the table. When you visit, you will see physical proofs, marked-up printouts, and the same materials we reference in calls — not a showroom staged for sales.

Remote work is normal for portions of Draft and Direct; Listen and Hand over benefit from shared air when schedules allow. We are explicit about which meetings require your presence in Singapore and which can run over video with the same discipline.

People by role

Who does what

We list roles rather than names on this page. Names appear in proposals and correspondence once an engagement begins. The structure below reflects how accountability is assigned inside the studio.

  • 01

Studio principal — strategy and client direction

Leads Listen and Frame, owns the client relationship, and signs off on strategic direction before Draft begins. Present at key reviews and the Hand over walkthrough. The principal does not ghostwrite every line — that is why the editorial lead exists — but remains accountable for fit between deliverable and brief.

  • 02

Editorial lead — voice, copy, and editorial programmes

Runs Draft for language-heavy engagements: positioning papers, voice guides, editorial calendars, long-form copy. Consolidates client feedback into actionable revision notes. Maintains nomenclature registers so product names stay consistent across deliverables.

  • 03

Design director — visual direction and brand systems

Translates approved frames into layout direction, typographic hierarchy, and brand-system documentation. Coordinates with external production partners when scope includes print or environmental work. Attends Direct sessions where visual decisions cannot be delegated to vendors alone.

  • 04

Studio coordinator — scheduling, archives, and handover

Keeps the sequence visible on a shared calendar, manages file archives, and prepares Hand over packages. First point of contact for scheduling changes. Ensures version labels match what was approved — a small discipline that prevents large mistakes.

Principles

How we behave

We write in British English for Singapore clients unless a brand system dictates otherwise. We quote scope in writing before work starts and we do not begin Draft on verbal assurances alone. We treat your materials as confidential by default — sector notes on our site are anonymised for a reason.

We say no when the timeline makes the sequence impossible, when the organisation cannot consolidate feedback, or when the request sits outside our disciplines. A refusal early is cheaper than a rescue late. We partner with specialists for media buying, performance marketing, and large-scale production rather than stretching into work we cannot defend.

We do not publish client logos as trophies. We do not invent metrics for credibility. If you need proof of competence, we will walk you through anonymised process samples during Briefing and introduce referees where appropriate and permitted.

Origins

Why the studio exists

Clickvault Nest began when its founders kept meeting Singapore teams who had hired capable vendors but lacked a frame — a written argument that tied website, pitch deck, and sales conversation together. The studio was built to own that gap: not to replace agencies, but to give in-house teams and partners something solid to execute against.

We remain independent — no holding company, no mandatory media commitments, no referral arrangements dressed as recommendations. That independence is part of what you buy when you engage us.
